In short, 2:06:30-ish, which was fine, I was happy with it. Later I can analyze in detail how I could have gone under 2:05 (I know I could have, there were factors). The second hour was warm! By the time I returned to the hotel and the surface sweat had dried up, I could feel a grainy layer of salt on me.
Now we are off for a bit of a driving tour of the north end of the island, then lunch back at Aloha Mixed Plate. Loco moco, here I come!

Congrats! Looking forward to the full recap. Even if you coulda gone faster, it's still cool that you got to race in Hawaii!
Excellent time, and nice picture, too. Good luck!
